Thursday: Junior Dance – All Secondary 1,2,3 students are welcome to attend
Friday: SZA Dance – All Secondary 3,4,5 students are welcome to attend
ARM WRESTLING CLUB: We are meeting today, Thursday September 28, at lunch in Mr. Hollenbeck’s room E325. We will be looking at techniques from the legendary Bob Brown to counter the flop-wrist press (also known as the dead wrist press) as well as looking at the incredible rematch between the greatest of all time John Brezenk and the Russian power house Alexy Voevoda that we have all been waiting to see for the past 19 years.
Orange Shirt Day, Fri., Sept. 29: We will be acknowledging Orange Shirt Day/National Day for Reconciliation. Come to school wearing an orange shirt in support of Residential School Survivors and the children lost in those schools. Terry Fox Pool & Ping Pong tournaments: Tracey needs at least four more players for the pool tournament to run, and 7 more for the ping pong tournament. Take your Terry Fox money to her so she can register you!

Lung Cancer Canada / Lung Ambition Alliance / Massey-Vanier Media Project: This is a shoutout for anyone who is interested in learning more about the project. We will meet in my classroom, D313 this Friday, at the noon bell. Bring your lunch with you; you can crunch and munch your lunch at the same time! If you are interested in participating in the project, but can’t come to a meeting on Friday, drop by my classroom to learn more about it.
Happening in our community: Sutton School of Art is hosting an open house this weekend to share their new facility. Massey-Vanier students have gone here in the past for an art trip.
