RESET challenge: Congratulations to all who took the time to reflect on the way they spend their time online and challenged themselves to have a more balanced lifestyle. Raspberry Pi Club: It is Monday so we are meeting in Mr. Hollenbeck’s room E325 at lunch to explore technology and various digital projects. No arm wrestling today.
Broomball Classes: Level 2 and Level 3 Broomball classes TOMORROW (TUESDAY) are to report to the gyms not the arena. Mr.Wright’s level 5 fitness class are still to report to the arena for broomball class TOMORROW (TUESDAY)
Food Drive: Until Dec. 13, MV will be collecting food to donate to local food banks. Please bring in non-perishable food items to your ELA class. There will be a pizza party for the class that brings in the most food. Items must not be expired and can include things like: Pasta and sauce, soup, peanut butter, cereal, canned fruit or veggies and even hygiene products. Thanks for your generosity!
Freeze Dried Candy: Will be for sale in the plaza Tue., Dec. 3; 10$ a bag – cash. Kinds available: Fuzzy peaches, gummy clusters, and sour skittles.
Sec 4 and 5 – sortie au cinéma: Return your consent form and 5$ to your French teacher today! You can pay by card at the office.
Cross country: Shirts arrive Monday. See Ms. V with your payment (20$-24$).

All welcome Pingpong tournament: There will be a Christmas tournament beginning Dec. 9 at lunch. To enter, bring one item to put in a Christmas stocking. The stuffed stocking will be given to the winner and his/her name will be on the trophy. All entries must be given to Tracey (Student Supervisor) before Dec 9. Hope to see you there and good luck!
Christmas Pool Tournament: Join our Christmas pool tournament beginning Dec. 9 at lunch. Entry fee of $5 and two non-perishable food items. All proceeds go to charity. There will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners and the 1st place winner will have his/her name on the trophy. Entries must be received before Dec. 9 to Tracey (Student Supervisor). Hope to see you there and good luck!
Ski/snowboard trip to Mt Sutton: All levels trip ski/snowboard, Dec. 20. Registration forms are available at the Office. Deadline: December 6. See Ms. Frizzle for more information (E433c).
Anti-Bullying Campaign: Create an anti-bullying logo for MV. The selected logo will be placed on posters, stickers and even t-shirts. Entries must be turned in on a white, 8.5 x 11 printer paper to Sarah in Student Services by Tues., Dec. 3. Place your name on the back of your logo. The logo winner will receive a MV sweatshirt & water bottle, as well as a 20$ Subway gift card!
Holiday Theme days:
Christmas door decorating: join forces with your fave staff member to decorate their door with a Winter Holiday theme. December 2- December 13.
December 10: Christmas Accessory Day: Santa hats, Christmas ties,socks, etc.
December 17: Christmas PJ day
December 19: Ugly Christmas Sweater day
Subterranean: Tuesday: Guitar club at lunch and after school set and props. Wednesday: Lunch rehearsal for actors. Thursday: Lunch rehearsal for actors and after school for set and props.
